The downhole tester valves inlcude LPR N Tester Valve and Select Tester Valve. The LPR N Tester Valve featured with a full- opening design and operated by annulus pressure. The LPR N tester valve is mainly used to measure multiple closed-in pressures in cased holes where pipe manipulation is restricted and a full-opening string is required.
Work principle of the LPR N Tester Valve Valve
The nitrogen chamber of the LPR N Tester Valve is charged at the surface at the pressure calculated by surface temperature, bottomhole temperature and pressure. If the intended test requires a permanent packer that uses a stinger mandrel or seal nipple, a variety of bypass tools are available for different test application, the tester valve can help to ensure that the formations and downhole equipment are protected from excessive pressure buildup.
